An overview of results at Monterey this year

Monterey 2024

We deal with an International commodity so it is important to keep a weather eye on the prices and activity wherever we can and the same goes for our clients so we have prepared an overview of the Aston Martin activity at four separate auctions to offer an idea of estimates, what the cars sold for, what those which didn’t sell were bid to and what is wanted for those that were unsold.

And it is always good to compare the value we offer on allastonmartin.com – we are offering a DB4 Series I – one of the first 150, with frameless windows and a front opening bonnet for £289,950  (https://allastonmartin.com/car-details-initial.html?carid=1001)   In contrast, Goodings sold a later Series I, albeit left hand drive, for a gross £351,120 including premium (Goodings exchange rate £770 per $1,000)

And it doesn’t seem like two years since we stood on the lawns at Pebble Beach watching DB3S/5, a car we supplied, winning its class at the Pebble Beach Concours. Its was a just reward for the efforts put in by Byron International and others to deliver the record of provenance that supported its outstanding presentation quality.
